Buy Customizd Wristbands

Lance Armstrong wears 'em, right? I mean, they've become a symbol of toughness, endurance, determination, all that good stuff. Seriously, the man won like seven Tour de France races in a row, and he's won how many other awards and recognitions? He's like the Michael Jordan of bicycling, every little athlete's hero. So what's he doing wearing a bracelet? "Livestrong." That's his motto. That's the slogan he touts on his wrist, on his little yellow rubber bracelet. I've never been a jewelry man, but this isn't exactly jewelry. And it's really not even a bracelet. It's a wristband, a rubbery, silicon fashion statement that's got me thinking, "maybe I wanna buy a custom wristband." Not because its trendy, of course, but because it makes a statement. I've got my own statements to make. I mean, who doesn't, right?

After thinking about Lance and his foundation, I started going through my list of reasons why people would want to wear a customizd wristband. All kinds of groups are doing it and they are all making statements. So, I came up with my top five. Call it my Big Five Reasons to Buy Customizd Writbands.

Number 1: They're customizd. That's right, personal, special, individual, unique, exclusive, distinctive, rare, however you wanna call it. This is your own creation. Your customization. You're fashion statement that says what you want to say and how you want to say it. It can be as simple as your name and your favorite color, or a poetic motto that secretively describes your inner you. Whatever it is, it is yours.

Number 2: They stand out. Admit it, you've seen them before. You've seen their bright colors, their imprinted slogans. They make people look and think—what's that about? Who's she supporting, what's her cause, or what's her statement? They get people asking questions, and starting conversations. Nothing better than a good ol' conversation piece.

Number 3: They're cheap. Not that money's got to be the ultimate factor, but seriously—this means you can buy as many customizd wristbands as you want. And if you've got a big group of people that you all want to join in with you, it isn't like you've got to stretch that penny too far. They're perfect for family reunions, school clubs, sports teams, or any other organization looking for fun ways to unite on a strict budget.

Number 4: They're fun. And I'm all about fun. You can choose any color you like and you can come up with all kinds of phrases. Armstrong's is pretty cool: Livestrong. Now I gotta come up with mine so that I can compete, show off a little of me. Plus, I can change from one day to the next—my slogan doesn't always have to be the same thing.

Number 5: They raise money. Not that I'm always trying to start my own awareness campaign, but when I do, it's good to know I can raise money easy. Breast cancer, kidney, AIDS, and disaster relief foundations have all simply asked people to buy custom wristbands—and look at what they've been able to accomplish!

Sounds like pretty good reasons. So, I may not be ready to go out and start my own cancer research foundation like Lance Armstrong, but I'm thinking of all kinds of reasons why I could buy a customizd wristband to start my own following, you know, with my fan club. Of course, if that fails, I may just show off my creativity with all the new slogans I can come up with. Whatever the reason, I'm thinking it sounds fun. And, I've got nothing to lose.
